Here's a list of some climate/environment organizations within Maryland

The mission of the Chesapeake Climate Action Network is to build a diverse movement to fight for bold and just climate change solutions to put the Chesapeake region of Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. on the path to climate stability, while inspiring action in neighboring states and around the country.

The mission of Sierra Club Maryland is to educate the public on the issues stemming from climate change by advocating for bold systemic changes at the local and state level for a just and equitable transition from dirty fossil fuels to 100% clean renewable energy, zero waste, and clean transportation.

The Sunrise Movement is a national organization that advocates political action on climate change. Making up this movement are local hubs all over the country. In the state of Maryland, these hubs are located in Montgomery and Fredrick County.

The Chesapeake Audubon Society's mission is to promote the protection of ecosystems through conservation, restoration, education, and advocacy.

The mission of Clean Water Action Maryland is to protect our environment, health, economic well-being, and quality of life through organizing strong grassroots coalitions, campaigning to elect environmental candidates, and solving environmental and community problems.

Since 1967, the mission of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation has been to save the Chesapeake Bay and keep it safe for future generations.
